Behind The Seams – Guided Tour with Champagne Reception

What better way to get up close and personal with costumes made for the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing than to have a guided tour from the people that actually make them!

Starting with a champagne reception to add just a little more sparkle, if any were needed, we will enjoy a two-hour guided tour by one of the directors or sales managers of DSI London. Proving very popular with groups in recent times our Behind the Seams guided tour will allow us to explore the studio where the stunning creations for Strictly Come Dancing and the competitive world of Ballroom and Latin are put together, from first design to final rhinestone.

Our guide will share a few sparkling stories of what went on “behind the seams” and we will have the opportunity to ask them anything we like about the stunning dresses we see.

After the tour is complete, we will take a short coach transfer to a nearby venue to enjoy an Afternoon Tea. The exact venue is yet to be decided. Following the pandemic, I am just in the process of contacting a variety of venues local to DSI and following some assessment will decide the one that most suits our needs. I will let those booking on the trip, know the venue as soon as I have it confirmed.

We will make our way home at around 4pm with a view to arriving back in Dorking at around 5pm, a very civilised day indeed!
