Christmas Lunch and Illuminations Trail

For this year’s Christmas Illuminations trip we have gone one step further. As well as being wowed by the Illuminations Trail through the grounds of Hever Castle, also enjoy time in the castle itself, experiencing beautifully decorated rooms, welcoming log fires and twinkling Christmas trees.

As if that wasn’t enough, be spoiled with a glass of mulled wine or hot spiced apple juice on arrival before a 2 course Christmas lunch followed by tea and coffee.

Of course, there is always shopping in the gift shops and outdoor food and drink concessions to warm you up if necessary. Christmas at Hever is always a special occasion and a wonderful excuse to make a day of it.

Leaving Dorking at 11.30am we should arrive at Hever Castle with plenty of time to settle in before our lunch. Following lunch take time to stroll the castle and enjoy the seasonal displays. As dusk falls, venture out to the grounds to see the illuminations at their best. Leaving plenty of time to thoroughly enjoy all the aspects, we will leave Hever Castle with a view to arrive back in Dorking at about 7.30pm.
