The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra presents Symphonic Soul
Get ready for an unmissable night of soul music as the Royal Albert Hall is filled with music from the legendary Motown record label and leading artists of the era.
Featuring unforgettable tracks such as R.E.S.P.E.C.T., Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, Reach Out (I’ll Be There), Dancing in the Street, Midnight Train to Georgia, Stop! In the Name of Love, Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing, My Guy, Proud Mary, What Becomes of the Broken Hearted, My Girl and more.… each given the RPO’s signature symphonic twist.
Having originated the role of the Genie in Disney’s Aladdin in the West End, as well as more recently having played the role of George Washington in Hamilton, Trevor Dion Nicholas leads the vocals, with Michael England conducting the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Royal Albert Hall is no stranger to hosting a concert or two and so there really are no better surroundings to witness such an extravaganza.
Following on from our highly popular trips to Symphonic Queen, Best of Bond, Let’s Face the Music, Best of Broadway, and most recently Symphonic Rock, Symphonic Soul promises to take you back, whilst we remember and enjoy some of the greatest songs ever written!
