- 4 nights accommodation in a Standard Room on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.
- Luxury coach travel throughout.
- Warner’s entertainment nightly.
- Use of Warner’s leisure facilities.
- Two half-day excursions to Harrogate and York.
Following our popular Warners short breaks to Cricket St Thomas in 2022, and Littlecote House in 2023, 2024 sees us visiting Nidd Hall. Famous for their nightly entertainment, daily leisure activities and with a great reputation for food and customer service, Warners has been entertaining its guests for 90 years, with all their properties becoming adult only in 1994.
Our 4 night / 5 day stay at the historic 18th Century mansion Nidd Hall, will see us benefit from all the usual things you would expect on a Warner Leisure Hotels holiday but, in addition, we will include two half day excursion. Situated just north of Harrogate, one excursion will be to Harrogate itself and one to York. We will take lunch stops both en route to Nidd Hall on the Monday and when returning home on the Friday. So, all the quality but with none of the hassle of organising things yourself.
Set among 45 acres of award-winning gardens, Nidd Hall offers a historic building and beautiful grounds to explore.
The cost of the trip will be £525 per person based on two sharing a twin or double standard room. Sole occupancy is always very limited and fills up fast. We have just 10 sole
occupancy places available to us currently, with a supplement of £150. Please see side panel for a more detailed itinerary and what is included in the price.
If you wish to book on the short break or have any questions, please contact me as below and we can get you booked in and sort a deposit payment. Whilst the deposit payment will be required at the time of booking to secure your place, the balance payment will only become due 12 weeks prior to our departure.
MONDAY – will find us leaving from behind the Dorking Halls at 9am, with a view to avoiding the worst of the rush hour traffic. on our way to the Nidd Hall, we will make a comfort stop. With the opportunity to just grab a tea or coffee or a light lunch, there will be time to use the facilities before completing our journey, arriving at Nidd Hall mid / late afternoon to check in. The rest of the day and evening will be ours to acquaint ourselves with the hotel and its surroundings, enjoy the facilities, dinner and of course the evening entertainment.
TUESDAY – today we will offer an optional excursion to Harrogate. a Georgian Spa town and home to the world famous Bettys Café Tea rooms, Harrogate is a beautiful place, perfect for a relaxing visit. From the Spa waters, Turkish baths and Royal Pump room to the Valley Gardens and beautiful Georgian architecture, there is plenty to enjoy.
WEDNESDAY – with a full day at the hotel, we have the opportunity to enjoy any of the many activities on offer.
Check out the programme when we arrive to see exactly what will be available.
THURSDAY – our second optional excursion sees us visiting the cathedral city of York. A walled city and home to the huge 13th century gothic York Minster, York offers us a second chance to visit Bettys Café Tea Rooms as well as offering plenty of options for retail therapy including the Christmas Markets which should be up and running when we visit.
FRIDAY – leaving after a leisurely breakfast, as with our journey north at the beginning of the week, we will stop off at a sensible point to break the journey giving everyone the chance of a comfort stop, where we can use the facilities and grab some lunch or just a cup of tea or coffee and some cake, if we so choose. Whilst our arrival time back in
dorking will of course be subject to traffic, we expect to be back late afternoon / early evening.
